What is the Most Important Day in History?
I had a teacher in the sixth grade, Mr. Mac, that asked this question at the beginning of the school year, and no one got it right.
The day Jesus was born? No.
The day Columbus set sail? No.
July 4th, 1776? No.
The End of WWII? No.
Every date we gave him, the answer was, “No.”
By the end of the day, he gave us the answer that no one had thought of.
The Most Important Day in History is today!
John Maxwell wrote, “Most of us look at our days in the wrong way: we exaggerate yesterday, we overestimate tomorrow, and we underestimate today!
I think it is what we do today that really counts. Our biggest opportunities are where we are at this moment.
If we think of today as just another day, we have gotten something wrong!
Hebrews 3:13 – “But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today…”
What we do today has an impact on us, our families, and our friends. It is not only our honor to have a positive impact on others, it is our duty.
It is probably true to say that how we live our lives is found in how we live our days.
What are you doing today will make a difference!
We should choose wisely.
That is what I think.
